    The year 2016 started with the ATBI project. This project has created more than 100 records of 17 species including nocturnal mammals, arachnids, fungi, dragonflies and reptiles organized in a detailed database which could be included in the future in a global database of organizations or countries who use the same methodology.

    With the beginning of the year came new goals and opportunities for the Costa Rica team. We continued with the hard work of saving the scarlet macaws, we started compiling a guide to the different butterfly species that have been found in the park over the last years and we also started with environmental education at schools.
